Replacement Parts Kits for MC20 available soon

Antares will have Replacement Parts Kits available for MC20 boards available soon.

Antares Analytical will soon have available replacement component kits for MC20 readout boards. Experience has shown that 15% of the components cause 90% of the MC20 board failures. To help lower our customer's downtime, as well as Maintenance & Repair costs, we are developing replacement component kits for the MC20 boards. These kits will contain the electronic components which, many years of experience has shown, fail most often.

Rather than purchase & stock a series of spare boards, or waiting for a replacement board which may not be readily available, our replacement parts kits can be stocked at a fraction of the cost of spare boards. When a board failure occurs, the correct component will be available immediately for on-the-spot repair. This means no time spent trying to find the right component, or to our International customers, time spent trying to get a component available only in the US. Less downtime, less repair cost and less money tied up in Emergency Spares.

These kits have been developed, for Antares Analytical by a former Baird Analytical Electronic / Test Engineer with many years experience developing & testing the Baird MC20, Baird HR400 & Baird KH3-5. All components are from the original component vendors and some of these components are only available in the US market, making them difficult to obtain outside North America.

Very shortly we will have available Replacement Parts Kits for the MC20 Element Board, MC20 High Voltage Switching Board, and the 1000 VDC Power Supply, with kits for MC20 Measure Board, MC20 Single Board Computer and Fiberoptic Interface Board, as well as kits for the HR400, KH3-5, and MOA boards available shortly afterwards. For more information please contact us.
